The Assassin With No Heart

An assassin accepts an assignments that leads to unexpected consequences.

Presented in its original form, this is the oldest piece of writing of mine that I ever put out into the public. While I certainly would have written it differently, were I to have written it now, I still feel that this story was an important first step for me.
An important first step that I cringe at, pretty much every time that I re-read it...

Also, much to my consternation, I used the word "ironic" wrong in this story.
For shame, past me, for shame!
